Daily update from Hyperion about 9D’s current situation:
Hey All,
There is not much to update on today. We had some issues with deciphering the information we are looking at for character restoration. Basically, we are coming closer to being able to distribute the information you want, but hit a few snags and so now I will have to wait a day or two to get the formal process to you.
This was not altogether unexpected, we are trying to de-complicate the process as much as possible before asking you to go through it.
I did manage to get through about half my PM’s which is good, and I hope to have them cleared out again by Friday. Generally, the questions are more of the “what will happen if…what will happen when…” etc etc…
I am trying to answer to the best of my ability, but what I have mostly been saying is “sit tight until I can update the WHOLE community…”
It should be clear by now that we plan to bring the game servers back up next week, and that the most recent user DB will not be in our hands by then. So we are coming up with a work-around that I think will work well for the vast majority of the active players. I will be specific when I can.
I think, given your enthusiam so far, that you will like the solution we propose, and genuinly hope that we will soon have all this nonsense behind us and we can all move on to playing 9Dragons non-stop for the rest of 2010!

I didn’t register either and I don’t think I will do it. I had enough of the old forum kids spamm. I don’t want to put my mind with the kids again.
What Hyperion do is a good thing for all the community.
He is interacting with people, bringing information to gamers. When a publisher or developer wants to say something or when rumors flare up around controversy, often a community is the first to step in and speak up.
I believe he have something to say about the game and he say it.
